Mechanism of Metal Tolerance in Higher Plants,pulations are said to be metal tolerant. This character has been found amongst both wild and crop species. Wild species often show differentiation into ecotypes which can vary in their degree of tolerance; some cultivars of various crop species also show variation in their degree of tolerances.
