Numerical Inversion of Laplace Transforms,n (Hodek 1973) seems to be still valid: there is no tangible evidence of the impact of enemies on the population changes of coccinellids. This is particularly true in the case of predators, both vertebrate and invertebrate. Similar views were expressed by Frazer (1988) and Majerus (1994).
