描述Acarology is on the move! For a long time the development ofAcarology as a field of biological science has been dominated bysystematists and applied scientists. Thegrowing interest from evolutionary and molecular biologists and frompopulation and community ecologists in mites and ticks has a strongimpetus on the field of Acarology, and has already led to significantprogress.
