Congenital Resection for Early-Onset Scoliosis, curves and was doing well. A posterior-only hemivertebra excision using a three-rod technique allows for excellent deformity correction with acceptable complication rates in young children requiring surgery for progressive curves with significant truncal imbalance.

The Vertical Expandable Prosthetic Titanium Rib (VEPTR) for Congenital Scoliosis,-to-rib vertical expandable prosthetic titanium rib (VEPTR) construct and a rib-to-spine VEPTR construct. This construct was distracted over a 5-year interval. At most recent follow-up, the VEPTR construct has allowed for sustained thoracic growth and stabilization of spinal deformity, without the need for spine fusion.

Classification of Early-Onset Scoliosis,ehensive classification system that can help physicians with difficult treatment decisions in this very heterogeneous group of patients. To this end, the C-EOS (classification of early-onset scoliosis) has been developed and later validated to enhance communication between clinicians and ultimately lead to better patient outcomes.

Der grosse P?bel- und Sklavenaufstandal spine-based growing rods (TGR) and underwent conversion to MCGR when it became available in the United States. He has continued to be managed by magnetic lengthening and has not yet undergone final fusion. His curve has been maintained between 30 and 40. with the use of MCGR. He has had no complications to date.
