IntroductionI am very grateful for having been invited to this meeting. Even though I have not been personally working on Parkinson’s disease, I am obviously very interested in the study of degenerative diseases, in particular of Alzheimer’s disease, in the treatment of which there is some hope that the Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) may be of use.

Contribution of motor performance tests to the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s diseasees of the disease and standardized motor performance tests can contribute to its detection. Since we established that a deterioration of the test results is highly age-correlated for these patients, we expect that follow-up testing will further contribute to improve selectivity.
