Cosmic Rays and the Beginning of the Meson Theory theory. However, one impression still remains clearly. It was the discovery of the cosmic ray mesotron, which is now known as the mu-meson. This experimental discovery of the mu-meson encouraged the meson theory, and the theory developed actively and rapidly by this stimulation. I remember clearly how really effective it was.
