Reduced Enhanced Elastic Continua as Acoustic Metamaterials, a band gap (or band gaps), the medium being thus a single negative acoustic metamaterial, and for some cases decreasing part(s) of dispersion curve, thus being a double negative acoustic metamaterial in this zone.
