Factors Influencing the Performance of Rural Water Supply Schemes: Analysis from Maharashtra,ach district of Maharashtra. Based on this assessment, four typologies of districts were identified, each requiring a certain type of intervention to improve the sustainability of water supply schemes. The chapter also explains the practical and policy relevance of the model results in rural water supply planning.
