Automatic Reading of Traffic Ticketsm requests assistance from the user to identify the input pattern. This feature is necessary in order to avoid feeding in wrong information to the database, such as associating the traffic ticket with the wrong registered car.

A Stochastic Model Combining Discrete Symbols and Continuous Attributes and Its Application to Handwusly defined and the algorithms for its training and decoding are presented. This framework has been applied to off-line handwritten word recognition using high-level structural features and proves its effectiveness in experiments.
