Relationship between solubility and micellization of surfactants: The temperature range of micellizmonomeric solubility of surfactants while leaving cmc unchanged and the other is to decrease cmc values of surfactants while leaving monomeric solubility unchanged. Several applications to fibers and flat polymers (foils) are demonstrated, and it is shown how this method can be used to investigate the pK of dissociable groups, the adsorption potential of ions, and preferential adsorption.
