An Alternative Approach to Foundations of Radar Polarimetryl models of scattering matrices can best describe their transformation properties also in the case of noncoherent scattering. As an example the decomposition of depolarizing symmetrical matrix, with two equal minimum radar crossections, into four nondepolarizing constituents has been presented.
