In this section we shall discuss the close relationship between hyperspherical harmonics, harmonic polynomials, and exact D-dimensioanl hydrogenlike wave functions. We shall also discuss the importance of these functions in dimensional scaling and in the hyperspherical method.

Pseudomolecular Electron Correlation in Atomsere we examine some new features of the adiabatic molecular problem illustrating the importance of motion near the saddle point of the two-centre potential. Properties of resonant states of the atomic three-body system are shown to be a direct consequence of this saddle-point motion. Its dimensional scaling properties are discussed briefly.
