Seismic Wave Diffusion in the Earth Lithosphere,ve crust overlying an almost homogeneous mantle. We simulate the multiple scattering of the seismic waves using the classical radiative transfer equation in a scalar approximation. We solve the equation using the Monte Carlo method and give a particular attention to the asymptotics of the solution.
