EpilepsySeizures are common problems for both the pediatric neurologist and the pediatrician. An estimated 3–4% of all children in the United States will have at least one seizure caused by fever. Children who have epilepsy (recurrent seizures without fever) make up a group of about 1/2% of the pediatric population.
