Detection of Explosives,re founded to solve one of the largest problems of our days. Non-government organisations, the “NGOs” have done an outstanding work in demining. But up to now, the deminers are working with relatively simple devices with very low frequencies and efficiency: Prodding, Dogs and Metal Detection.

Challenges in Application and Evaluation of EDS Systems for Aviation Security, baggage screening systems on different locations, despite the largely comparable regulations. This paper touches on some of the challenges in this field, more specifically bulk detection equipment evaluation and application.
