The Weak Identity Thesis,onvincing explanation of individual determination. Without wishing to agree prematurely to this explanation, I do concede that I believe the outcome to be the same in Deleuze’s work as it is in Spinoza’s. There is, indeed, a blotting out of the principle of individuality, of subjectivity.

The Blessed State of Reason,r her senses.. Deleuze also assumes that when the individual entertains a common notion she or he will experience a certain affect, which is persistent and permanent.. This is the second stage of knowledge outlined in the earlier chapter. There is, though, a third kind of knowledge: intuitive knowledge. Spinoza writes that:
