Patterns at Work: Multiple Waves and very late-type dwarfs and subdwarfs. Among the new high proper motion objects, the coolest subdwarf was discovered in follow-up observations with Keck [17]. The APM discoveries have also lead to the finding of a new population of ancient Halo white dwarfs that make up 10% of the Galactic Halo dark matter [6].
