Fatigue Life, total fatigue life. Cycles to failure in alumina SiC composite and yttria stabilized zirconia were applied for the determination of the fatigue limit. The SiC is reinforced by SiC fibers to improve high temperature strength. The moisture in air affect the cyclic behavior of SiC deteriorating its properties.
