Models and Meta Models for Transactions in Web Applicationss. Our meta-model is based on the reification of transactions, where transactions are modeled as first-class types, supporting attributes, associations, operations and state machines. Treating transactions as domain type instances facilitates the interplay with other models, such as the navigational model, which is a view of the domain type model.
