Lyman-α Observations of Comet Holmes from SORCE SOLSTICE and SOHO SWANquire significant processing to remove interplanetary and geocoronal backgrounds which increased the uncertainty of the result. However, both instruments measured similar Lyman-α irradiances, confirming their calibration agreement.
