The Effects of Brain Metabolic and Other Perturbations on the Responses to Induced CSD, and the age of the rats. In the studies described in this chapter, we used the multiparametric monitoring systems as well as multisite system measuring mitochondrial function and electrical activity of the brain in 4 locations.

Discussion and Conclusions,ions are discussed. The mitochondrial metabolic states described by Chance and Williams 1955 are compared to the in vivo conditions. Also, the use of NADH fluorescence together with other physiological parameters in patients is discussed.
