Solving partial differential equations using ILLIAC IV,use of iterative and direct methods for solving the Poisson streamfunction equation discussed. Storage considerations are emphasized. Closing remarks on algorithmic parallelism, others using ILLIAC and I-O and programming language considerations for ILLIAC are included.
