Online Computerized Analysis of Peripheral Nerves,us methods have previously been used for deriving axon diameters, the direct method of measuring diameters manually is often limited by time considerations. That is, the amount of sampling which can be completed within a reasonable time period may not be adequate as a statistically significant representation of the total nerve fiber population.
