Plastic Analysis of Footing Foundation Based on the Unified Strength Theory,Bearing capacity of soils and settlement of strip foundations and circular foundation are an important and classical problem. Loads from a structure are transferred to the underlying soil through a foundation such as a footing. The foundation and soils must not collapse or become unstable under any conceivable loading.
