Supersymmetrizing the Standard Model,by its shape. From this point of view it is clear that the excitations of the nucleus within this model are vibrations and rotations. The theoretical problem is the classification of the excited states by quantum numbers. This is possible by means of group-theoretical considerations. For an extended discussion, we refer to Refs. Three-Body Bound-State Calculations,eeded [8.2]. Since the three-body Schr?dinger equation can be solved numerically in a precise manner, the three-nucleon system plays a very significant role in answering that question. One must also investigate, in addition to the bound state, three-nucleon scattering observables [8.3] and responses to external probes [8.4].
