Persianp: A Persian Text Processing Toolboxideas in preparing required training data and/or applying new techniques are presented. Experimental results show the strong performance of the toolbox in each part. The accuracies of the tokenizer, the POS tagger, the lemmatizer and the NP chunker are 97%, 95.6%, 97%, 97.2%, respectively.

A New Language Model Based on Possibility Theoryhe new language model with the probabilistic one used in statistical MT systems. The results, in terms of the METEOR metric, show that the possibilistic-language model is better than the probabilistic one. However, in terms of BLEU and TER scores, the probabilistic model remains better.

The sources we used till now are news texts from Bilcon 2005 corpus, a set of professionally translated sentence pairs from MSRP corpus, multiple Turkish translations from different languages that are involved in Tatoeba corpus and user generated paraphrases.
