Exploiting Metonymy from?Available Knowledge Resourcesmetonymy from existing lexical knowledge resources. In particular, we analyse how metomynic relations are implicitly encoded in WordNet and SUMO. By using an existing automated reasoning framework to test the new modelling acquired from WordNet and SUMO, we propose a practical way to deal with figurative expressions.

Candidate keyphrases only consist of words that are detected as outliers of this dominant distribution. Empirical results show that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art and recent unsupervised keyphrase extraction methods.
