Assessing Convergence of Markov Chain Monte Carlo Methodsbution. Hence one is lead to estimate the speed of convergence of MCMC algorithms. In this paper we briefly survey results useful to monitor and predict the convergence, especially in terms of the number of variables n. This is related to the question of estimating the computational complexity of approximated sampling.
