Complexity Scaling for HEVC Using Adaptive Partitioning Structures,encoding process [1–8]. All of them rely on constraining the frame partitioning structures introduced by the standard, namely, the CUs and the PUs, in order to adjust the number of R-D evaluations performed in the optimisation process and consequently the encoding computational complexity.
