https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-031-44633-7e performance of WMN-PSOHC by comparing different mesh router replacement methods: Linearly Decreasing Inertia Weight Method (LDIWM) and Linearly Decreasing Vmax Method (LDVM). Simulation results show that a better performance is achieved for LDIWM compared with LDVM.

https://doi.org/10.1057/9781137318039rm and exponential distributions for 16 and 32 mesh routers. The simulation results showed that the proper number of the routers for uniform distribution is 32 and for exponential distribution is 16. Especially, uniform distribution optimized by 32 routers shows an effective load balancing.
