In this paper, a Domain Specific Systems Engineering approach using a Domain Specific Language (DSL) based on the results of this reference architecture is proposed and evaluated by a suitable case study.

This approach comes as a complement to existing results on change propagation patterns within large systems. A promising parallel is established between the design process of a large system and learning processes well known to the social sciences community.
