To encourage this conversation, this chapter provides basic information about CEDAW; introduces the Communities for CEDAW efforts, particularly focusing on Cities for CEDAW; identifies the levels of intervention that may be involved in a change initiative; and then presents 13 points about effective intervention on a local level.
