Reintegrating Combatants in War to Peace Transition, chapter argues that effective reintegration process must be guided by underlying principles and practices of ‘transformatory peacebuilding’ in which agency of ex-combatants, their families and communities has a vital role to play. Such role can be played from ‘below’, ideally in conjunction with programmes implemented from ‘a(chǎn)bove’.
