Distributed Averaged Perceptron for Brazilian Portuguese Part-of-Speech Taggingnd used for the Brazilian Portuguese language in this work. An accuracy superior to 97% was achieved, as it was also shown that it is possible to speed up the convergence time of the algorithm more than two times using parallel training strategies.
