Defining the strategic businessesThe determination of tungsten in molybdenum is a complex analytical problem. In order to separate the metals the molybdenum is precipitated by hydrogen sulfide in the presence of tartaric acid. The tungsten is determined in the filtrate [2]. If there is only a little tungsten present the error is considerable.

Some Data Relating to the Chemical Properties of Germanides,Published data relating to the chemical properties of metal germanides are very limited. The germanides of the alkali metals have been studied most completely. Thus lithium germanides of the following compositions are known: Li.Ge and Li.Ge.. These decompose in damp air, forming Li.CO.; Li.Ge is more active [1].
