Operating behavior of supercharged engines in automotive applications,iate between passenger car and truck requirements. Off-road and tractor concerns can be treated as a subgroup of truck requirements. And requirements for locomotives largely correspond to those of stationary engine operating conditions. The special requirements of the latter vehicle categories will be discussed in Sect. 8.3.
