Compression Models from Elementary Incremental Lawsnd void ratio. Models were presented in terms of void ratio-effective stress relationship and porosity-depth trends. All theoretical expressions were derived by assuming suitable incremental compression laws. Comparison with experimental data indicates that the models can describe a number of features of the behavior of sand and sedimentary rocks.
