Four Hundred Cases of Hepatic Resection for Primary Liver Cancerour hospital, 1745 patients with primary liver cancer were admitted from January 1960 to April 1984; 937 patients (53.7%) were explored operatively. Of these patients, 400 were given resections, a resection rate of 42.7%. In the following we report on our experience in the hepatectomies of these 400 patients.
