Cutting Force Model for Analysis of Burr Formation in Drilling Processciated with the axial component of the cutting force at the exit of the drill from the workpiece. The chip should also be controlled to flow toward the radial direction of the drilling tool. The lip geometry of the twist drill is discussed to reduce burr formation with the curved edges in the cutting simulation.
