Open-loop Power Control in CDMA Overlay,power control error in the presence of narrowband interference are analyzed and numerically computed. In order to get a minimum power control error in the CDMA overlay situations, an optimum downlink power allocation scheme is used, which works well for wide range of signal to narrowband interference ratio.
