The aim of this work is to develop a neurologically inspired computational cognitive model of desire regulation and these underlying self-monitoring and decision making processes. In this model four desire regulation strategies have been incorporated. Simulation experiments have been performed based for the domain of food choice.

Advertisement and Expectation in Lifestyle Changes: A Computational Modeln be used as the basis of a human-aware assistance system. The presented computational model simulates the dynamics of mental states of a human during formation and change of behaviour. The application domain focuses on sustainable behavior.
