Blockchain State of the Art,In the previous chapter, we examine the many similarities between blockchains and distributed databases, and discuss how blockchains prioritize security and robustness over performance. The important research questions concerning blockchains are (1) how they strengthen robustness, and (2) how they improve performance without impacting security.
