All the above parameters affect the size and distribution of pressing forces in the densification process and thus the resulting quality of solid biofuels. At the end of this chapter, the author describes the methodology of selecting a suitable pressing machine for selected requirements.

Experimental Research,ly determined. Experimental research was carried out at our workplace in Bratislava, and wood biomass was used. The presented results confirmed the importance of optimizing the shape and size of the pressing tool for the needs of improving the densification process and increasing the quality of extrusion from biomass.
