Stress and the Immune Systemstimuli on the immune system are discussed. Attention is given to the finding that immune responses can be conditioned. Recent data on a possible feedback loop from immune cells to the brain are discussed in relation to the observation that lymphocytes can produce neuroendocrine-like peptide hormones.
