Genetic Disorders of Brain Development: Animal Models,esses depend on the genetically controlled selective synthesis and degradation of proteins at specific times during development. Genetic mutations or exogenous factors which affect genetic control can, therefore, interfere with normal brain development and may result in severe brain dysfunction.
