Lattice Renormalization of Non-Perturbative Quantum Field Theoryby dynamic determination of the coupling constant. We then turn to four dimensions and, after contrasting Euclidean with Minkowski lattice renormalization, discuss their application to non-perturbative phenomena in the Wess-Zumino model, scalar electrodynamics, and extended non- Abelian gauge theory.

For certain critical values of these parameters, the asymptotic behaviour of the solution changes suddenly and qualitatively: this phenomenum is a bifurcation. This can be the transition from a stationary state to a limit cycle or from a periodic behaviour to a more erratic behaviour.
