Computer Program for the Analysis of Thin Walled Beams of Variable Section,r 5 were worked out by using this program on the CDC 1604 A Computer of the Computation Centre, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich. This program is abailable in the library of the Computation Centre. A complete description will not be given here. A scheme of the program is given on the following page.

The longitudinal axis of the beam may be straight or curved. The conditions of support of the beam are arbitrary. The cross section may be unsymmetrical and variable along the axis.
