Controlling Competitive Consecutive Reactions Using Micromixing,lve this problem, allowing the reaction to stop at the first stage with high selectivity in many cases. Micromixing is effective for improving the product selectivity of Friedel–Crafts-type reactions and other types of reactions.

TLC/HPTLC in Biomedical Applicationsverage residence time (mean residence time) is determined by the cross-sectional area and the length of the reactor and the flow rate. Appropriate setting of the residence time is required for controlling the reaction in a flow reactor.
