Low back pain of thoracolumbar originrience indicates that this pain is commonly derived from irritation of the posterior branches of the lower thoracic and/or the first lumbar spinal nerves. This irritation takes place at the corresponding zygoapophyseal joints of the same segments with which these nerves are anatomically related.
