Udo Schickhoff,Annette Eschenbachefore selecting the Tepul site for installation of the SAR plant. The naturally occurring second aquifer water at Tepul had an arsenic concentration of 254?ppb. Once the plant was installed and the operation started, the arsenic level decreased to below the WHO limit of 10?ppb for 3000 L per day (LPD) water within 50?days of its operation.
